The annual Rivorton Area Operation Snowball is being held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 1pm to 4:30pm at the Yoho Scout Reserve. All Beaver Scouts and Cub Scouts are invited to come out to this fantastic event! We will have events like sliding, snowshoeing, fire lighting, and lots of other fun events!
Beaver Scouts Operation Snowball
The Beaver Scouts will be down in the main lodge area. Each group attending must be willing to run an activity. The activity needs to be about 20 minutes in length. In the past we have had snowshoeing, snow painting, cookie baking in an outdoor oven, sliding, fire lighting, toboggan pulling, curling, bowling, etc.
Cub Scouts Operation Snowball
The Cub Scouts will be up in the G.L. Miller area. Each group attending must be willing to run an activity. The activity needs to be about 20 minutes in length. Some past activities groups have been snowshoe races, building a toboggan races, fire lighting, etc.
Each group is to come self-contained and provide your own group snacks. Hot chocolate will be provided and it will be served at the main lodge area for the Beaver Scouts, and at the campfire circle at the G.L. Miller for the Cub Scouts.
There will be a small $5 cost for the crest (ordered after the event), hot chocolate and incidentals.
