Jensen Lodge

The Jensen Lodge is a rustic cabin which is suitable for small group use. It opened in 1978, and is dedicated to the memory of Stephen Jensen. This cabin is situated next to the lake about 200 metres south of the Yoho Scout Lodge. The cabin has a capacity of ten people. It is a one-room structure, heated by a wood-burning stove, has propane appliances and is lighted by propane lanterns. The cabin is serviced with off-site outhouses.The cabin is nestled on the lake, and is on the South Loon Watch Trail.

Driving Directions

From the NB-2 W Trans Canada Highway:

  • Take exit 271 for Mazerolle Settlement Road toward Hanwell/NB-640.
  • Turn left at Mazerolle Settlement Road.
  • Drive for 1.5km.
  • Take the first right onto NB-640 S.
  • Drive approximately 10.5km.
  • Turn left onto the Yoho Lake Road, the driveway is Civic Number 80, on the right hand side (there is signage).

Payment & Other Details

The cost for the Jensen Lodge is $45 for one night, and we offer a $10 discount per night when booking two nights or more. Please inquire about rates for non-Scouting groups.
